NYC-Parks.us is an independent visitor guide to New York City’s parks for travelers. We are not affiliated with NYC Parks (the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation), the City of New York, the Central Park Conservancy, Friends of the High Line, or any other park organization. We don’t run tours, issue permits or take bookings.
For permits, official events, closures and park rules, always use the official city and conservancy websites.
How we check facts
- Sizes, hours and history come from official park and conservancy pages. Where sources disagree, we say so and point you to the official page.
- Tour prices and ratings come from booking-site listings on the date shown on each page. The booking page always shows the live price.
How the site is funded
Some links to tours and hotels are affiliate links (GetYourGuide, Viator, Stay22). If you book through them we receive a commission, at no extra cost to you. This never decides what we recommend. Details in our disclosure.
