Midtown: for Bryant Park and Central Park

The most hotels and the best transport. Bryant Park is in the middle of it, and Central Park starts at 59th Street. Expect busy streets and smaller rooms.

Chelsea: for the High Line

Low-rise streets, galleries and Chelsea Market, with the High Line running through the middle. Fewer big hotels, more boutique stays.

Park Slope: for Prospect Park

A Brooklyn neighborhood of brownstones, cafés and playgrounds on the edge of Prospect Park. Good value, and about 30 minutes to Midtown.
